Agyness Deyn lies about her age.

Agyness Deyn has spilled the beans to everyone that she and her bookers have been lying about her age all these years. This is not necessarily uncommon. I remember several models in Tokyo revealed to me that they lied about their age. One told me that she had been "23 for about 5 years." Another girl was 22, but was instructed to tell the clients she was 20. I was 18 when I went but in retrospect, I sort of wish they had lied and told them I was 16. 

Apparently a Facebook group titled "Agyness Deyn you're not 18" was started in 2007 by a group of people who went to school with her. I find this rude and unnecessary. It's not like it was her idea, it was her agency's. It worked for her so everyone just back off.

 It wasn't until recently that she confessed to having shaved off a few years, her actual current age being 29. Unfortunately I doubt this will start a revolution of any sort. If only these pervy age obsessed clients could realize that a girl past 22 is not past her expiration date. I also find it amusing that people's responses have been "OMG SHE LOOKS SO GOOD FOR 29!" as if a woman couldn't possibly look good at nearly 30.

Anyway, this post is a tribute to the awesomeness of Agyness. 24 yr old Agyness Deyn or 29 yr old Laura Hollins. Whatever she goes by, whatever her actual age, she rules.
